Pastor MatJesus had been confronting hypocrisy, of people who had turned the Temple into a marketplace. The leading priests, teachers of religious law, and elders approached Him. They wanted to know, “Who gave you the authority to..." and how does he respond?

Pastor MatIf you were with us at Church, you know the vibe in the air was heavy but hopeful. We looked at Mark’s Gospel, where Jesus starts talking about millstones, stumbling blocks, and a fire that never goes out.
Pastor MatYesterday’s message was such a good reminder for all of us. The disciples were literally walking with Jesus and still arguing about who was the greatest. It’s almost funny until we realize how much we do the same thing.
